Mission

The Coastal Carolina First Responders Association (CCFRA) is a local non-profit 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to providing much-needed support for those who unselfishly serve us all.  CCFRA’s mission is multifaceted; to Remember, Honor, Respect and Support the brave men and women who have heroically served and continue to serve as First Responders. With the generous donations we collect from individuals and organizations, we strive to:

• Remember: Fund a beautiful 9/11 Memorial Monument surrounded by a Heroes Walk and seated reflection area in the Ocean Isle Beach Town Center Park. We are providing the memorial in an effort to remember, to reflect, and to educate future generations so that we will “Never Forget.”
• Honor: Pay tribute to those currently in service through a series of First Responder Appreciation events, including supplying meals, gifts/gift cards, services, financial support, etc.
• Respect: Develop new and support existing First Responder Awareness Community Programs. Encourage program participation and promote positive public relations with First Responders.
• Support: Provide financial and fundamental assistance to the families of First Responders who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service. Help with funeral arrangements, provide essential provisions, offer emotional support, and develop and administer educational scholarships to the children of fallen First Responders.
