9/11 Memorial Monument & Heroes Walk

9/11 MEMORIAL MONUMENT DETAILS:

Features a piece of steel from the Twin Towers (Flight 11 and Flight 175),
The two towers are supported by a Pentagon-shaped pier (Flight 77),
The tree line in front of the steel represents Shanksville, Pennsylvania (Flight 93),
Heroes Walk - engraved brick pavers honoring Military and First Responder service personnel,
Areas for seated reflection.

The CCFRA is providing the opportunity to purchase engraved brick pavers to community members who wish to pay tribute to their heroes; those who have served and/or continue to serve in the military and first responder services. The brick pavers will be installed in the Phase 2 of the OIB Town Center Park. They will be placed in a circle surrounding the 9/11 Memorial Monument designated as a Heroes Walk. The cost for each engraved brick paver is $200.00 We envision the completed project to be an area in which people can gather to pay their respects throughout the year(s), especially during tribute times such as Memorial Day, Independence Day - 4^th of July, Patriot Day - September 11^th, Veterans Day – November 11^th.
